Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa VARANK attended the “3rd Defense Industry Meetings” organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and the SAHA Istanbul Defense and Aerospace Cluster.
VARANK announced that Bayraktar TB2 and ANKA type Turkish UAVs will be sent to Europe. Minister VARANK heralded that Bayraktar TB2 and ANKA type Turkish UAVs will be sent to Europe. Minister VARANK stated, “Very soon we will see the Bayraktar and ANKA UAVs purchased from Turkey flying in the European skies.”
Bayraktar TB2 armed UAV, developed by Baykar Defence is currently actively used by the security units of Turkey, Qatar, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. ANKA-A/B/S/I type UAVs developed by Turkish Aerospace are currently used by Turkish security units. However, Turkish Aerospace recently exported 3 ANKA-S Satellite-Controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to Tunisia.
Turkey has good relations with many European countries. Albania, Belarus, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, and Poland are some European countries that have defence industry relations with Turkey.
