Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Pakistan, General Nadeem Raza and his delegation visited the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and met with Prof. Dr. Ismail Demir.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Pakistan, General Nadeem Raza and his delegation visited the Presidency of Defence Industries. Defence Industry President Prof. Dr. Visiting İsmail DEMİR, the delegation held a meeting regarding the issues on the agenda. To the meeting; Defence Industry Vice President Serdar DEMİREL, Defence Industry Vice President Prof. Dr. Faruk YİĞİT and Fixed Wing Platforms Department Head Abdurrahman Şeref CAN also attended.
The Pakistani Embassy in Turkey said in a statement: “Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Nadeem Raza, called on Prof. Dr. Ismail Demir, Head of Presidency of Defence Industries of Turkey. Both sides discussed collaboration in defence production sector.”
Pakistan and Turkey Defence Industry Relations
Turkey and Pakistan, which have important business relations in the defence and aerospace sectors, have recently developed further this cooperation. Pakistan has ordered 4 MILGEM Corvettes and 30 Turkish Aerospace T129 ATAK Attack Helicopters to Turkey of late years. Super Mushshak Training Aircraft has also been ordered to Pakistan by Turkey.
Turkey exported at least USD 67.3 million worth of defence and aerospace product to Pakistan during 2020.
